This year’s 120 Champions and Defenders for Children include 40 senators and 80 representatives who have stepped forward to make “the best interest of the child” a top priority in the Senate and House in 2022. They have all taken affirmative steps to positively address the problems facing children.
As Congress debates and sets the nation’s federal priorities on policy and budget matters, the Champions and Defenders honored this year make children a “first focus” of their work in making public policy decisions.
Please join us in thanking these #Champions4Children and encouraging them to continue being a voice for kids in Congress.
Unsure if your Senator or Representative is a Champion or Defender of Children?
Don't worry, we'll provide sample language encouraging your member to step up this year if they fell short of being selected as a Champion.
