S 458 Child Nutrition Cuts
The First Focus Campaign for Children sent a letter to every member of the U.S. Senate, urging opposition to legislation (S. 458, Roberts) that would make deep cuts to child nutrition. The bill would cut more than $36 billion from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which allocates nearly half of its funding to feeding children.
