Montana Has Record for Homeless School-Aged Children

Homelessness is a complicated issue that can go unseen, especially in children.

According to the U.S Department of Education, Montana had a 45% increase of enrolled homeless students for the 2012 to 2013 school year.

Policy director for a children's advocacy group out of Washington D.C., Cara Baldari, says homelessness puts stress on these 2,500 school-aged children.
